Dr. Sabrina L. Marshall – Founder, Visionary & Leader
Dr. Sabrina L. Marshall is a woman of purpose, compassion, and vision — dedicated to helping women heal, rebuild, and walk boldly into the lives they were created to live. As the Founder of Women Who Elevate Women (WWEW), her heart’s mission is to create a safe and judgment-free environment where women can share their past, pain, and present realities — and begin their journey toward restoration and empowerment.
Since September 2006, Dr. Marshall and the WWEW team have helped hundreds of women from all nationalities break free from life’s strongholds and take their first steps toward healing. One defining moment came in 2010, when she spoke to a group of women at Miramar Prison in San Diego, California. Through open conversation and authenticity, she reached hearts others could not — not by trying to fix them, but by simply sharing her own story.
Her philosophy is simple yet transformative:
“When we share our truth, healing begins — because pain loses power when love enters the room.”
Through Women Who Elevate Women, Dr. Marshall continues to empower women worldwide to rise above pain, overcome barriers, and embrace purpose. Her life’s work stands as a testament to faith, resilience, and the power of sisterhood — proving that when women are elevated, entire generations are transformed.

At Women Who Elevate Women (WWEW), our desire is to create a safe, sacred environment where women can reveal their past, their pain, and their present lives without fear or judgment. Since our founding in September 2006, we have helped hundreds of women from diverse nationalities and walks of life break free from the strongholds that once held them captive. Through compassion, mentorship, and strategic partnerships with local agencies, these women have been empowered to take their first step toward healing — and continue building stronger, purpose-filled lives.
One of the most defining moments of my journey came in 2010, when I visited Miramar Prison in San Diego, California, to meet a young lady. During that visit, I was invited to speak with a group of women inmates. As they filed into the room, their eyes were filled with hesitation, pain, and guardedness. I later learned that many speakers had come before me — some offering encouragement, others attempting to “fix” them — yet few had truly reached their hearts.
For more than an hour and a half, I simply shared my story — my real, raw experiences as a woman who had endured, overcome, and found freedom through faith. By the end of our time together, nearly every woman in that room was in tears — not from shame, but from release. They were broken open in the best way, ready to confront their pain and begin the process of healing.
As I was preparing to leave, the prison chaplain approached me and asked, “How did you do it? How did you get them to share their past — their pain? We’ve been here for years, and they’ve never opened up like that.”
My answer was simple:
“I shared my life with them. I didn’t come to fix them — I came to connect with them. They realized that we are all women with similar pasts, just different experiences.”
That encounter forever shaped the mission of Women Who Elevate Women. I remain connected to several of those women to this day — a living reminder that healing is possible when love and authenticity are present.
Across the world, countless women are silently living in private pain and shame — burdened by childhood trauma, emotional scars, and abusive relationships. Many suffer in silence, asking themselves “Why can’t I just leave?” or “Who would believe me?” Others find themselves in cycles of addiction, incarceration, or deep depression — lost, unseen, and longing for freedom.
At Women Who Elevate Women, we exist for them. Through your support, we are able to walk alongside these women as they confront their pain, rebuild their confidence, and transform their lives. Together, we are helping women overcome the chains of bondage, guilt, low self-esteem, addiction, depression, lack of education, and generational trauma — one story, one soul, one breakthrough at a time.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for partnering with us. Your involvement enables us to continue this sacred work — to help women rise from brokenness into boldness, from fear into faith, and from pain into purpose.
With gratitude and grace,
Dr. Sabrina L. Marshall

From One Woman’s Vision to a Global Movement of Healing and Hope
The story of Women Who Elevate Women (WWEW) began in September 2006 with a simple but powerful vision — to create a safe space where women could come together, share their truth, and begin the journey toward healing and purpose.
What started as one woman’s outreach of compassion soon grew into a movement that has touched hundreds of lives across diverse cultures and communities. Through partnerships with local agencies, faith-based organizations, and community leaders, WWEW has become a bridge of hope for women ready to rise above strongholds of pain, shame, and brokenness.
Since its inception, Women Who Elevate Women has provided mentorship, education, and spiritual empowerment to help women rebuild their confidence, renew their faith, and reclaim their future. Whether through workshops, retreats, or one-on-one mentorship, WWEW continues to meet women where they are — offering not judgment, but genuine support and love.
Over the years, the organization’s reach has expanded beyond local borders, connecting women worldwide who share one mission: to heal, elevate, and empower one another. Countless testimonies now stand as living proof that healing is possible and that transformation begins the moment a woman feels seen, valued, and free to tell her story.
Today, Women Who Elevate Women remains steadfast in its commitment to serve as a beacon of hope, restoration, and sisterhood. What began as one woman’s call to action has become a global movement of women walking in freedom, faith, and fulfillment — transforming lives and building legacies that will last for generations.
